Bubblegum and Prince

After their adoption in March 2003, Prince and Bubblegum's parents wrote:

To all at KC: I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Bubblegum and Prince are adjusting extremely well to their new home and coming out of their shells more and more everyday. It took a while, but I think they know now that they have a solid home that they can call their own. We love them dearly and look forward to their company everyday and for many years to come. Thanks for being there for them and for us.

An update in March 2004 from their dad:
Both Bubblegum and Prince, A.K.A. "The Boys" are completely adjusted to their new home. It took almost an entire year for Prince, but both cats are completely comfortable and relaxed in their new environment. When we originally took them home from K.C., Bubble gum was branded as a "Cuddler" and Prince was a bit uneasy and unsociable. Most of Prince's time was spent hiding under furniture for quite a while. You couldn't imagine how much they have changed since that time. While Bubblegum remains the ultimate "Cuddler" and we absolutely adore that about him, Prince has just recently taken up his new role as an affection seeking love monster that seeks us out human beings for love and attention constantly; he even recently showed us that he has an incredibly loud purr. Yes, they are finally home and they know it. Words cannot explain or define the love that we feel for these two cats. We feel truly blessed to have found them and will cherish them for as long as they'll have us.
