description:  Beautiful Gabrielle was found as a stray who had apparently climbed into someone's car engine to get warm and ended up going for a ride before she was discovered! Fortunately, she was unhurt but very, very scared. She has made wonderful progress in foster care and has worked hard to learn to trust people and accept love. She will need a patient adopter to continue working with her, approaching her slowly as she gets to know them. Because she has a tendency to startle easily, we do not recommend her going to a home with small children or dogs who like to chase. She loved her foster mom's cats and could probably live with a cat-friendly dog with proper introduction. She is very playful when she feels comfortable and loved to sleep with her foster mom and cuddle on the couch at night. Won't you give this sweet girl a chance to open her heart to you?
