Success Gallery

Sophie Sophie's mom recently wrote about Sophie: Last year we came to kitty cottage looking for a friend for our little Maxine (grayish brown and white cat) and fell in love with Sophie (dark grey cat) as soon as we saw her at Kitty Cottage.  She was in the "shy cat room" and as soon as I went over to pet her, she started to purr and nuzzle my hand.  My fiancé soon joined me from another room and said he had found one, I told him no this is the one we are bringing home.  He asked why and I told him to just pet her.  He did so and she rolled over onto her back to allow him to rub her belly.  When he did that, she wrapped her paws around him (without her claws out) and hugged him.  We signed the paperwork that day for her. When she arrived to our place her and our other cat immediately became friends.  We came home many days with both of them laying on the couch or windowsill together.  Later on my cousins found a litter of kittens in which the mother had been killed.  And they found a home for all the kittens except for one - our little Baxter (black and white kitten).  All three of them always sleep with us, and when I take a nap on the couch Sophie and Baxter are soon there to join me.  I cannot imagine life without them there.  Thank you kitty cottage for helping to find Sophie, the middle child in our little family.  She is the most lovable and talkative cat out of them all.  We absolutely adore her, and the rest of the gang!
