Hi! I'm a beautiful orange and white cuddly girl here at the Cottage waiting for a new home. I've been at the Kitty Cottage longer than any other cat! I arrived on January 20, 2006 and really, really want my own forever home! I was in a foster home for several months and was as happy and content as could be. I loved my foster mom and her daughter; I slept with one of them every night. But I did not like their cat. That's why I'm back at the Cottage. Come on by and have a sitdown with me to find out what a great girl I am. One little tidbit: I like men a lot. And I need to be the only animal in your life. But I'm worth it!

Carley is polydactal on all four feet. She was rescued from a kill shelter in New Jersey where she spent 1.5 yrs. in a cage. She is still acclimating to a radically different environment, so she is nervous and unsure at the moment, but with time and lots of love, she should come around.

Buddy and his 2 friends Rusty and Sandy sadly lost their (human) mom and had to come to the Cottage. Buddy is very sweet, despite his scared look. Five seconds after you've sat down, he'll come over and shove his face into your hand. This older gentleman would make a wonderful companion. Don't let his age scare you off. You couldn't find 3 more loving cats. He's healthy and easily takes his thyroid medicine. It's not necessary, but we would really love to see the 3 of them go home together. Come in for a visit!

Cassidy is a beautiful little cat with a large head. Our "pocket cat" likes belly rubs and she purrs incessantly. All you have to do is sit next to her and she'll purr up a storm! Adorable, petite little Faith is a 1 yr. old tuxedo whose previous "family" dumped her at an overfilled high-kill shelter because they were "tired of her." Her foster mom still can't believe this after living with her for about two months because she is an absolute joy to be around. Poor Faith had obviously been neglected because she was skinny, dirty and depressed and didn't even know what cat toys were for! (she loves them now)

Faith definitely thrived in foster care and is now at Kitty Cottage looking for her forever family. She is friendly, chatty, very playful, and just loves attention! She is currently doing a wonderful job as the resident "nanny" in our kitten room and just loves grooming, snuggling and playing with the little ones. She has become attached to Elizabeth, and Elizabeth has definitely become attached to her. We would really like to see them adopted together. Faith got along great with her foster mom's three male cats but not the dominant female. She does NOT do well with dominant cats as she is fearful and reactive around them. A house with very active dogs that would want to chase her would probably not be a good match either. She definitely enjoys the company of other kitties but a more laid back or younger roommate would be the best fit for her. 

This beautiful, loving girl dreams of a real family who will love her forever and not discard her again. Can you make her dream come true and give her the happy ending she deserves?

He's such a wonderful, sweet, laid-back cat, just like Buddy and Sandy. He has a clean bill of health and would make a wonderful addition to your family. This ol' guy has years of love left in him. You wouldn't abandon your father, would you? He's especially close with Rusty, and we would love to see them all go home together. But it's not required. Per her foster mom, Polly is a dainty, petite kitten with a small heart-shaped face, large dark eyes, and a long grey tail. She will sit on your lap for hours and loves to be held and petted. She wants to be with people and other cats. She likes to play, jump, climb and explore. She loves to play with feathers on a wand, a wand that has a mouse that lights up, and small stuffed toys. She likes to be brushed and travels well in a carrier.

One brother has already been adopted, but her other brother Charlie is still here. It would be nice for them to go home together, but not necessary.
