Part of our mission is to educate our community on the resources that are available to them for spay/neuter, lost pets, outdoor cat information, general cat welfare, and more. We put together this spreadsheet in hopes that it can provide some assistance to those in need. Below are some of the examples of help you can find by visiting this sheet.

Stray Cats
It is very important to note that not all outdoor cats need to be rescued. Most thrive outdoors and are called community cats. If an outdoor cat looks healthy, it probably has a caretaker and should be left alone. If it's ear is not tipped, it should be taken for spay or neuter and released back to it's original location. If it's ear is tipped, someone has already helped it out by getting it spayed or neutered. If an outdoor cat is sick, unkempt or injured, it needs help. Please find a qualified TNR group to assist catching the kitty and finding it adequate health care. DO NOT trap a cat unless you have a place lined up for it to go. KITTY COTTAGE CAN NOT ACCEPT STRAYS OR FOUND FRIENDLY CATS!
