It’s been a tough year for me. I’ve needed multiple treatments for a terrible ear infection, and I was in such misery! They finally decided they needed to remove one of my ear canals, a high-risk surgical procedure that kept me in the hospital for several days. It was expensive, but I’m worth it!

I’m feeling great again now thanks to Kitty Cottage! Oh, I can only hear out of ONE ear now, which means I can only hear HALF of what you say (meow), but I get to CHOOSE which half! Isn’t that

just like a cat? Thank you for saving my life, not once but twice!

You give to us in so many ways. Some of you adopted a cat or give a monthly cash gift to sponsor one of our kitties. Others of you make periodic donations so that cats like me can receive essential treatment. Some of you make in kind gifts by donating food or litter. Others of you contribute time and energy to care for our facility, which receives extensive cleaning EVERY day. (We  desperately need volunteers to clean each morning and help organize special events!) All gifts and support make a great difference. Thank you! Thank you!

Please consider supporting our mission now with a new or an additional gift to facilitate our efforts in 2018. Please complete the form so we may acknowledge your gift. You helped us save lots of cat lives this year! You may designate your gift for the care of an animal, or if you prefer you can suggest it be used for urgently needed facilities maintenance. We used your gifts from last year to save over 50 cats from high risk places. Some arrived with severe medical problems. We also did some Kitty Cottage property upgrades to ensure a safe, clean, and protected home for all my “pawsome” roommates.

Please help us today by donating right here on our website or by mailing a check to the address below.

Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Riley, OOC,

Official Office Cat (manager) of the Kitty Cottage

December 2017

Dear Friends:

My name is Riley, the Official Office Cat (OOC) at the Kitty Cottage. I help Brandi Greene, our veterinary Nurse and Shelter Manager, a lot! (Actually I kind of run the place but Brandi doesn’t know that.) You might have seen me in relaxed repose by the window when you visited the Cottage. Or you might know me because if you made a campaign gift last year I sent you an email thank-you. Thanks for all you do for me and my 40 friends!

The place where I live has a remarkable 15-year history. Kitty Cottage is a no-kill cat adoption center that has found “furrever” homes for some 3,200 feline friends over that time, and none of it would have been possible without YOU! In September ALONE this year 26 of my friends were adopted. Crazy! Without YOU, Brandi and her colleagues could not afford to care for us who get here in all sorts of ways. Some of us get abandoned or saved from death row! Ugh! It’s very personal for me. Before I came here my owner had become seriously ill and was worried about what would happen if she could no longer care for me. She needed a plan and knew what a remarkable place Kitty Cottage is, the only place she trusted, so about two years ago she came to Brandi and made arrangements for an estate surrender to make sure I would be safe and secure “furrever”! How thoughtful! How loving! If you would like more information on how to arrange for an estate surrender plan, it is necessary to contact Brandi first.
